Mitchell Marenus earns CFA designation

Mitchell E. Marenus of The Enrichment Group in Kendall has been awarded the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) by the Association for Investment Management and Research.

The organization, based in Charlottesville, Virginia, sets the standards for measuring financial analysts around the world. The CFA designation is awarded to candidates passing three levels of testing over a minimum of three years.

“Around the world, employers and investors recognize the CFA designation as the definitive standard for measuring competence and integrity in the fields of portfolio management and investment analysis,” said Kathleen Day, president & CEO of The Enrichment Group.

Marenus, who lives in the Sunset area, also has the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He has been with The Enrichment Group since 1994 and serves as Chief Investment Officer, responsible for managing $150 million in assets for 300 clients.

Marenus holds a Masters of Business Administration from the New York University Stern School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany. He serves as Adjunct Professor at Carlos Albizu University in Miami, an instructor for Managerial Finance for both the Bachelor's and Master's program in Business Administration.
